The Griffiths
The youngest of three, Calvin and Isabella have always been close to their grandmother, Granny Smith. Both raised in Maryland, they visited their Grandmother on the weekends and holidays out in Virginia's small, country town Luray. Granny Smith always loved art, from when she was a little girl working needlepoint with her mother, to her teenage years following her boyfriend's band around the country, and even into her old age when she added a small tattoo for each one of her three grandchildren when they wre born.
Calvin was a professional dancer for the Sarasota Ballet, nearing his retirement he attending the Unuversity of South Florida where he got his business degree.
Isabella was a professional free-spritit, like her grandmother. She attended Randolph College and graduated as a communications major with an emphasis in journalism. Isabella still does free-lance work on the side, but does most of her writing from the tattoo shop.
Granny Smith's is a local, homegrown tattoo shop that has been the place for many first-tattoos. The shop has a family friendly environment with old furniture from Granny Smith's home.
